'What Would The Grandkids Say?' Stories​

Good morning, members!

I know there are a fair few of you who enjoy our 'What Would The Grandkids Say?' segment. So, I want to hear your stories!

Do you have any stories about you using your grandkids slang in front of your grandkids? How did they take it? Was it a good laugh for everyone?

I've said a few phrases I have seen on here to my kids and to a couple off my granddaughter's aged 15 and 16 and they have never heard the phrases or have my 18 year old, 19 year old or my 21 year old. So I have given up asking them.

Are you sure you aren't putting these phrases up so our young ones can have a good laugh

I have 12 grandchildren and have met a lot of their friends and I have NEVER ever heard any of them use any of these sayings that you quote.

Yeh I have 18 grandkids and not heard any of them say it

Same here, we have 26 grandies and 9 greats, none of them have ever heard any of these sayings.

I listen to the words my grandchildren use and sometimes use them in conversation.
I chucked a uey the other day and explainef what it meant, along with rightie and leftie.
