Time for another cheeky slang decode from the younger generation!

Today’s phrase: 'Sip tea' We all enjoy a cuppa—but this one’s not about Earl Grey!

To 'sip tea' means you’re quietly listening in on the gossip, without getting involved. You’re just there for the drama… from a safe distance.

Example: 'I’m not getting involved, I’m just here to sip my tea.'

It’s the modern way of saying, 'I’ll just stay out of it but I’m definitely listening!'

Lots of bitching but just sit back and listen.
