What louder?! Rachel Riley cracks up after spelling out X-rated phrase on Countdown board
We've all had a bit of a giggle at an innuendo or two during our time, whether it's a cheeky joke from a friend or something we've read in a book. But sometimes, things can go too far - which is what happened on the latest episode of the British TV show Countdown.
For those who don't know, Countdown is a daily programme that's been running for almost 40 years. It involves two teams of contestants going head-to-head to see who can make the longest word from a selection of nine random letters in just 30 seconds.

Well, things took an unexpectedly x-rated turn on one recent episode when presenter Rachel Riley rearranged the letters ‘IDLORUEJZ’ on the board after one contestant announced his winning word as 'louder'.
The result: 'JIZ LOUDER'.
Understandably, this caused quite a stir among viewers - not to mention some serious laughter!
Despite her obvious amusement at the situation, professional mathematician Rachel did her best to keep a straight face as she continued presenting.

However, many people watching at home were not so successful in hiding their hilarity and took to social media afterwards to share their thoughts.
'JIZ LOUDER!!! If I was Rachel I’d be on the floor rolling around with laughter,' one person wrote on Twitter.
Another viewer agreed: 'I bet it’s killing Rachel inside, not to try to laugh or comment JIZ LOUDER.'
A third joked: ‘OMG! Countdown never disappoints. Jiz Louder hahaha!’
We have to say, we agree – this gave us a good laugh!
So, what actually is 'jiz', we hear you ask? Read on at your peril!
Well, according to Urban Dictionary, it's a word meaning ‘semen’ or ‘ejaculate’ that tends to be used by people who are uncomfortable with saying the ‘s’ word.
But we don't think that's what this contestant had in mind when he made his move on Countdown!
We don't know about you, but we think 'jiz' has been added to our list of words never to use on Countdown - along with the other naughty words that have managed to sneak their way onto the board over the years, including ‘piss’, ’anus’, and ‘bondage’.
