What’s something lucky that’s happened to you before?

I’ll go first: one time, I cruised through five green lights in a row. Not a single stop. To this day, I have no idea how it happened, but I felt like the universe was giving me a wink.

Alright, over to you, lucky ducks!

Have you ever found a crisp $50 note floating in the breeze like a little paper miracle? Won a meat tray without even buying a ticket? Bumped into someone you hadn't seen in 30 years, and they still owed you a drink?

Or maybe your toast always lands butter-side up (in which case, please tell me your secrets immediately).

Years ago, went to lunch with a friend. After lunch she said, "let's have a flutter on the pokies" it was the first time for me. We each chose a machine, I put $5 in and only hit the play twice and the machine went crazy. I didn't know why, but my friend came over all excited because I'd won a jackpot of nearly $4000. I couldn't believe it. It was a lot of money back then, it was when you could put $1 coins in the machine.b

I had sorted out some "used once not liked items" to take to Cash Converters, but they were not interested. I next went to the Op shop, but they would not take them because they were electrical items. So I pushed the trolley full back to the car. A woman stopped me and started looking at the items and asked me if I would accept $150 for the lot. These included an Air Fryer and a bread machine, plus various other quality items in good condition. I was hoping to get about $50 so I gratefully accepted her offer. We loaded it all into her car and she gave me the cash! Result!!!

When l was around 13 l was in a park with a friend and l saw a large bag which l found to be full of bank notes [hundreds of pounds].My sister and l had had this very strict person we called 'nanny' to look after us while my mum worked and she would tell us stories she made up about things to keep us safe and the police were no exception so l was scared of the them.
Anyway l ended up telling my friend and getting her to go to the police station and to say she had found the money and keep me out of it. She received several rewards.

Winning over half a million bucks on spot 9 keno at the pub about 20 years ago, now you see it now you don’t. Money certainly doesn’t buy happiness that’s for sure.🌞
But on the upside winning every pub raffle and a 1 kg block of toblerone was better no wonder the locals cheered when I said I was going back to Melbourne from Tassie.🤣
Back here 7 years and can’t even win tattslotto.🌞
