Well there you have it folks.
After around 10 hours of a downed Optus internet, affecting approximately 10 million customers, NO internet, NO shopping, NO access to anything if you are an Optus customer. So much for the cashless society. Imagine going grocery shopping, a full trolley, only to be told at the checkout you have no card access to pay.
This is one of the main reasons we need to keep cash going.
