As temperatures drop, our cravings for warm, comforting meals increase. But let's be honest, those slow-cooked meats and hearty stews can sometimes put a strain on our wallets.
But here’s some good news: Woolworths has dropped the prices on over 450 winter catalogue items – giving Aussies the opportunity to eat their favourite winter dishes without breaking the bank.
Starting May 24 until August 22 2023, the supermarket giant will decrease the prices of popular winter grocery items.
From affordable cuts of meat to starchy veggies, the catalogue boasts a variety of classic winter flavours that will warm your belly and lift your spirits without stretching your budget thin.
Here are some of the items included in the winter promotion:
Beef Chuck Steak Medium (300g to 700g): Range was $20kg. Now, it’s $12.60 ($18 per 1kg).
Macro Grass Fed Australian Diced Beef (500g): Previously priced at $15, now it’s $13 ($26 per 1kg).
Ingham's Turkey Mince (500g): Was $8, now $6.50 ($13 per 1kg).
Macro Grass Fed Australian Stir-fry Beef (500g): Previously priced at $15, now $13 ($26 per 1kg).
Latina Fresh Bolognaise Pasta Bake (350g): Was $8, now $7.50 each.
Bundaberg Diet Ginger Beer 375ml x10 Pack: Previously priced at $16.30, now $13.50.

Caffe Aurora Espresso Blend Coffee Beans (1kg): The previous price was $31. Now it’s $19.
Devondale Moo Chocolate Milk 6x200ml: Previously priced at $7.45. Now, it’s $6.60.
Arnott's Premier Chocolate Chip Cookies (310g): Was $4.39, now it’s $3.50.
Cadbury Caramilk & Dairy Milk Chocolate Sharepack (18 Pack): The range was $6, and now it’s priced at $5.
Arnold's Farm Clusters Vanilla Almond (700g): It was previously priced at $7, and now it’s $5.50.
Fab Fresh Blossoms Laundry Detergent Liquid 2L: It was previously priced at $14, and now it’s $9.
