Want to SAVE BIG? BIG W has a secret flash sale - Here's how to get $2 items

It's no secret that times are tough, and many of us are feeling the financial pinch. With the ongoing economic downturn, it's more important than ever to be mindful of our spending and prioritise our expenses accordingly.

While we all love to indulge in a little retail therapy from time to time, these days, it can be hard to justify splurging on new clothes and accessories when there are so many other essential expenses to consider, such as groceries, rent, and bills.

Despite these challenges, many of us still yearn to upgrade our wardrobes and refresh our personal style. Whether it's to boost our confidence, express our creativity, or simply feel good about ourselves, fashion remains an important part of our lives, even during difficult times.

If you’re looking for major savings to update your wardrobe or stock up on shoes and accessories, then we’ve got good news for you!

A massive flash sale is underway at many BIG W stores throughout the country, offering an impressive selection of clothes, shoes, and accessories at a heavily discounted price of just $2.

Photos of BIG W stores all over Australia have been surfacing online, showcasing racks of clothing adorned with clearance signs boasting the affordable price tag and entire displays of shoes marked down to the same low price.

Unsurprisingly, many bargain hunters took notice of the discounts and spread the word about the incredible deals they had found on popular goods.

One mum shared that she saved a whopping $790 on her family’s clothes by taking a trip to her local BIG W store.

‘My savings at BIG W,’ she wrote in a post on the Markdown Addicts Australia Facebook group, along with a photo demonstrating how she managed to get $1,019,12 worth of goods for just $112.85.

‘My 10-year-old and 12-year-old girls ran riot. The shoes and clothes! They had a good haul.’
‘My son got some shoes and shorts. Rest basically on the tweens.’

Several other customers reported similar price reductions on the items they bought in the store. However, not every customer has reported success getting the deals.

To enjoy BIG W's flash sale with price reductions on selected items, shoppers need to know the secret.

One savvy customer explained that there are only reduced items with price tags made using a specific colour.

‘Guys, check out your closest BIG W and scan everything that has a yellow ticket because chances are it’s $2!’ they wrote.

With such an enormous sale event, it's no surprise that there have been reports of conflicts among shoppers.

Take, for example, a recent incident where one shopper boasted about scoring an impressive haul of sneakers and clothes for just $56, amounting to a savings of $812.

Some other shoppers criticised her, accusing her of ‘hoarding’ and preventing others from accessing the discounted items, which are only available while supplies last.

Despite the backlash, the shopper defended herself, explaining that she intended to donate the items to her local charity.

A BIG W spokesperson confirmed that the clearance sale only has limited stock, encouraging shoppers to check out their local stores as soon as they can for the best deals.

The representative said: ‘We love seeing our customers find great value in our clearance sale as we make way for new season ranges.’

BIG W also confirmed that customers can access the sale in-store and with online shoppers - with options such as Pick Up, Direct to Boot, and Home Delivery available.

‘For those wanting to be the first to hear about any new offers from BIG W, we encourage them to sign up to our Inner Circle here and follow us on social media,’ the spokesperson finished.
