Waitress Spills Red Wine On Dress

At a reception Saturday night a waitress spills red wine all over the back of my daughters dress.

The poor waitress was shocked but went away to get soda water to clean.

My daughter was sitting sideways watching the dancing when the waitress came collecting glasses and spilt the red wine over my daughters back

Most of the wine came out but dress is stained.
We said it's ok don't worry about it , the poor waitress was really nervous , I think it may have been her first day .

To me no one was injured . The dress can be replaced. But others were saying they should be sent the cleaning bill or if it can't be cleaned then the bill of the dress.

My view is mistakes happen . I didn't want to get the girl fired, I know the owner and he would have fired her

I feel there are bigger problems in the world and this one I will just let go. I will not say anything

What would you do ?

Oh, I definitely wouldn't mind! It wasn't intentional at all and as you said, it's nothing serious - so I personally don't believe there's any reason for accidents like this to escalate! :)
