Video about how scam centers work...

This is a video of what some internet youtubers are trying their best to help combat scammer call centres in India targeting certain countries, mainly 4 it seems and stealing 64 million a year. They have all been operating for nearly 12 yrs. This is not a joke video or a scam either. I've fallen victim myself but managed to get the bank on to it straight away. Thank God for the protection systems in place. One scam the person had my credit card details and decided to go shopping, 4 different places before the bank, ANZ Falcon scam watch acted and blocked my card. They then sent me an email about it but I was already aware of it and calling up my card fraud services contact number. I'm nearly 70 and am fullybaware of these scams, but one morning I received what I thought was a legitimate email from my internet provider. Essentially recognising the logo and knew about my credit card number change might have caused an issue probably. The email notification woke me up, I was tired and haven't been seeing well lately. I didn't notice the incorrect website address and stupidly put my credit card details in. After thinking about it having woken up more clearly, I realised something didn't seem right and checked the email address. It was a scam address quite clearly. I got on to my bank after waiting online for 40 mins and had them block my card. They said they already did as they had a large amount asking authority for a payment overseas. The bank knew I was in Australia an not overseas travelling so deny the transaction. Further attempts were made whilst I was asking to the bank. They were all denied.

Please share the video with friends and ask them to do the same especially to the elderly family members and friends. This is not a scam, it doesn't have any virus bomb in it, it is a legitimate video I came across just this morning as a suggestion to watch.

I hope it helps to get the message out about these scammers. My wife had 4 phone calls just yesterday regarding a $1,000 supposedly regarding a purchase for Amazon. As she doesn't shop or even have an account with them I had to point that fact out to her. She gets a lot of calls from Microsft, Norton and McAfee, she still doesn't get they are scams. Same with text messages with links in them that aren't recognisable. She has click on a few in the past until I got quite angry with her after telling her several times not to click on them. She has stopped doing that. Unfortunately she gets a lot of emails which are scams she now asks about before opening. She is also blocking phone numbers she doesn't recognise. My phone system does it automatically. If they aren't in my contact list they get flagged and I am notified so I can look and see the number.

Hope this helps save others from loosing money to scammers.
