Unlock Secret Savings on Everyday Items with This Brilliant Chemist Warehouse Insider Trick!

As we all know, the cost of living is on the rise, and every penny saved is a penny earned, especially for us seniors who are often on a fixed income. That's why we're always on the lookout for clever ways to stretch our dollars further. Today, we're excited to share a simple yet effective money-saving trick that's been making waves among savvy shoppers, thanks to a Chemist Warehouse employee's insider knowledge.

Jess, a Chemist Warehouse employee who has become quite the sensation on TikTok for her budget-friendly tips, has revealed a golden nugget of advice for those of us looking to save on staple beauty and health items. In a now-viral video, Jess explains that the key to unlocking significant savings is to opt for refillable options when purchasing your favorite products.

Refillable products are not only kinder to your wallet but also to the environment, as they reduce the amount of packaging waste. It's a win-win situation that aligns perfectly with the growing trend of sustainable living, which many of us are passionate about supporting.

Jess highlighted several brands available at Chemist Warehouse that offer refillable options, and the savings are nothing to scoff at. For instance, Dove body wash can be purchased in a 1.25-liter refill pack for the same price as a 1-liter bottle, saving you $3.25. Neutrogena's popular Water Gel Moisturiser is another example where the refill option is $6 cheaper than the original packaging.

But the savings don't stop there. Jess's personal favorite, the La Roche Posay Effaclar wash, offers a $2 saving when you opt for the refill over a new bottle. Similarly, the Fresh Water Farm Hand Wash refill effectively gives you a bottle for free, and the Schwarzkopf Sustainable Hydrate Shampoo refill saves you $5.

The list goes on, with savings on White Glo’s Eco Mouth Wash, Thank You hand and body wash, Palmolive hand wash, Dettol handwash, Pigeon’s liquid cleanser, and even the French skincare brand Avène’s Vitamin A Activ Cg Radiance Intensive Cream, which is exclusively available online.

Jess's video has garnered over 7,000 views, and the comments section is filled with praise from grateful shoppers who are thrilled to learn about these cost-effective options. It's clear that the community values these insider tips that help them maintain their lifestyle without compromising on quality.

So, next time you're at Chemist Warehouse or shopping online, remember to look for refillable options of your go-to products. Not only will you be doing your part for the environment, but your wallet will thank you too. And who knows, with the money you save, you might be able to treat yourself to something special – perhaps a nice lunch out or a new book to enjoy.

Great idea with the refillable but I am wondering if anyone else has trouble with Chemist Warehouse’s app? I have used it for years to order medication etc with no problems. They have now changed the whole thing and even the staff can’t work it out. I was in store a couple of weeks ago for nearly an hour while different staff, one after another tried to fix it before they handed back my phone and said “it’s not working “ . It was so easy before they changed it. It’s a very busy store and being able to send through my order for scripts saved me so much time.

Put in an order to CW today and was disappointed to note they appear to have done away with free delivery over a certain purchase amount.

Is it a sign of things to come if billion $ merger is pulled off.

There is another online chemist offering the free delivery deal, but on this particular purchase it was not on special there. So to be balanced, CW was by far the cheapest despite the home delivery fee.

Been into the refill situation for a good while now. More cost effective and less crap going into landfill.
