Unbelievable SKIMS dupes for under $20? This shopper puts Kmart's latest collection to the test!

SKIMS, the shapewear and loungewear brand created by popular celebrity Kim Kardashian, has become one of the hottest labels in recent years.
With price points ranging from $70 to over $200 for some products, many shoppers love the look and feel of SKIMS but find it out of their budget.
Enter Kmart, who has just launched a new collection of soft loungewear and shapewear that looks remarkably similar to SKIMS—for under $20!
As soon as the Kmart pieces started getting attention online, shoppers had to try and test them out. One such shopper is Isabelle, who compared some new Kmart pieces to her tried-and-true SKIMS favourites.
First, she tried the Kmart Longline Seamfree Bodysuit, which retails for $17, a spot-on dupe for the SKIMS Mid Thigh Bodysuit, normally $130.
Isabelle said: ‘I can confidently say that the Kmart version is a solid dupe. It fits just like the SKIMS one does, and it looks seamless underneath tight, fitted clothing. Plus, you really cannot beat the price.’
‘The bottom half of the shapewear doesn't ride up and stays in place, and because of its nude colour, it's invisible underneath white clothing,’ she added.
Isabelle stated that she would give extra points to SKIMS for its wide range of shades and sizes, which makes it more inclusive.
The next item on the list is the Kmart Short Sleeve Luxe T-shirt, priced at $10 and compared to SKIMS Soft Smoothing Seamless T-Shirt, which retails for $94.
‘This Kmart t-shirt is SO soft and smooth—it's also very form-fitting, so if you're looking for a bit of a looser fit, maybe go a size up,’ Isabelle stated.
‘The material is pretty much the same as the SKIMS tee, which is similar to Lycra, making it a perfect basic for the warmer months,’ she continued.
And lastly, Isabelle tried on Kmart’s Kmart Sleeveless Halter Bodysuit, priced at $15. It looks similar to the SKIMS High Neck Bodysuit, normally priced at $106.
Isabelle described the Kmart dupe: ‘My first impression of this bodysuit was just how soft and smooth it was.’
‘While I loved it and will probably be buying a few more in other colours, for the sake of this review, I would say that the SKIMS version fits slightly better,’ she admitted.
Regarding durability, Isabelle did notice that the Kmart pieces may not hold up as well as SKIMS after multiple wears.
However, considering the huge price difference, she found the quality impressive nonetheless.
So, if you love the look of SKIMS but aren't ready to splurge, trust that Kmart has these spot-on dupes.
