Hi, everybody, I'm allergic to tomatoes - my computer crashed and I lost my tomato paste substitute receipe - it included red capsicum, eggplant, garlic and lime/lemon juice (I think about the juice not sure anymore). It involved roasting and peeling the capsicum and eggplant then blending - does anyone have the same or similar receipe. My frozen supplies have dried up and I am longing for some spag bog.

Hello @NoNoNoNoNoNo! Thanks for the post Is this a pasta recipe (since you mentioned spag bog) or just a standalone paste recipe? I've been doing some looking but haven't had luck with a promising match...

(PS I am now craving for spag bog too like you wouldn't believe!!)

it's a stand alone you can use it as substitue for anything tomato. I am P$%^$d I lost the receipe, that'll teach me not to write it down on paper LOL. Never put your trust into a computer ROTFL
