If you have read one of our previous stories about tips on getting a good night’s sleep, we’re pretty sure you’re all set for a long night of undisturbed rest.
You have done your light exercise hours before bed, you have avoided any heavy meals after 6 pm, you have already taken a warm shower, the essential oils are all set and gadgets are all turned off. Now, all that’s left to do is to lie in bed and slowly drift away. Lovely stuff!
But on your way to the land of dreams, you’re stopped in your tracks by an all-familiar racket – the sound of snoring.
Now you’ve woken up and you’re finding it hard to fall asleep again. But worry not, because we’re here to help!

All across the world, snoring has been identified as one of the leading causes of sleep disruption, and we bet quite a few of us would agree. Whether it’s a snort, a wheeze, or a roar, if someone in our bedroom snores, it tends to be pretty hard to ignore.
But did you know that, even though snoring can be annoying, it can also be a tell-tale sign of a much more serious condition called obstructive sleep apnea – which causes repeated pauses in breathing while sleeping at night?
That’s why we’re here to share with you some home tips and remedies to help you stop snoring for good!
As part of their Special Buys, our friends at Aldi have been offering an Anti-Snore Pillow that promises to ‘reduce snoring’ by elevating the person’s head and keeping their airways open through its cotton-covered S-shaped foam core.
Sleep experts have been saying that improving your sleep posture will greatly help in preventing snoring, but does Aldi’s Anti-Snore pillow really work?
However, before you rush out to buy one, let’s just say, the reviews for the product were mixed.
One person wrote: “It may give you a better sleeping position but generally there is an underlying issue for snoring.”
And one woman even joked around in her product review: “This is an amazing product I swear by it! I only had to hit my husband over the head with it 10 times a night instead of the 20 times I would with a regular average pillow! Very heavyweight and durable.”
But not everyone found it ineffective. Some said that the pillow works but results were not to be expected overnight.
“It really works,” wrote one woman. “We noticed very short periods of snoring (if any) that are less loud. We also noticed almost no snoring at all. Better rested sleep patterns, happier partners.”
“I would recommend this pillow to anyone with snoring issues, it’s worth trying. We couldn’t believe how effective it has been. Really satisfied customers/family!”
But if you’re not too keen on spending $20 on a pillow with mixed reviews, we suggest watching this video to learn more about the natural ways to deal with snoring, such as sleeping on your side, cleaning your room, keeping a sleeping diary, and doing anti-snoring exercises!
