TikTok prankster’s toilet paper stunt on Woolworths causes an uproar

Although TikTok has a vast supply of creators sharing helpful tips and delicious recipes, also lurking among them are troublemakers who are up to no good.

Two Woolworths customers have stirred controversy after showing off a shocking act involving Quilton toilet papers. It will leave anyone struggling to buy the essential product furious.

The video showed one of the customers setting up his phone–which they used to capture footage of the incident–inside one of the supermarket’s freezers, in front of the toilet paper section.

While one of the pranksters held the freezer door open, his friend popped up from a row of toilet paper packs. As he came into full view, he knocked over the stack of toilet paper and sent them crashing to the ground.

The shoppers proceeded by grinning and dancing for the camera as the packs of Quilton toilet papers were left scattered around them.

Considering how several supermarket shoppers have been struggling to stock up on the item amid supply issues, the reckless behaviour of the shoppers sparked intense rage among many users.

Customers have taken to social media platforms to raise concerns about the ongoing shortages.

‘Can someone please explain why there is no toilet paper yet again?’ asked one Woolworths shopper on Facebook.

‘I have been trying to get toilet paper for four weeks now by dropping by the store twice a week. This is getting ridiculous!’ said another.

Unfortunately, this isn’t the first incident where TikTok creators have caused a ruckus to capture the attention of users. In June 2021, a Woolworths shopper shared a similar stunt, leaping onto a pallet of toilet paper packs. The woman behind the act was also criticised by thousands.

‘She needs to be thrown out of the store.’ one TikTok user demanded at the time.

‘That’s pathetic!’ said another.

A third sneered: ‘Do you feel cool now?’

What are your thoughts on the pranksters’ controversial stunt? Do they deserve the backlash or is the act harmless? Let us know in the comments!

Antics that impact others are not funny. And to think these morons actually show themselves as the waste of space that they are.

Absolute immature idiots. Make them pay for all the damaged bundles of toilet rolls them turf them out of the store never to return. What will Australia come to with a generation of fools like this running the country in the future?
