we had one too but think record player lifted from opposite side.

Yep we had one exactly the same as the one in the main picture, us kids had the family room to ourselves to watch our music programs, like Count Down, and things like Partridge Family and all those great shows and mum and dad had their tv in the lounge room so they could watch their stuff. It was a fabulous unit.

Looks like I'm not the
only one to have ....
Actually I have just completely Restored my Dad's ElectraSarbe exactly like the former shown but have turned it into a "monster" with a newly constructed added second 33 player and 3 X seperate amplifiers.
Beautiful sounds.
