This tweet is going viral for claiming we've been using straws WRONG – but is it correct?

Poppers or 'Juice Boxes' to some are a staple in every Aussie child's lunchbox.
And, when the kids have gone to school and aren't looking, us adults can occasionally enjoy some of these drinks as well. (The apple and blackcurrant-flavoured ones are our favourites, but all of them are delicious...)
However, just recently, there was a post on Twitter that shocked popper fans, including ourselves, by suggesting that it's possible that people have been drinking the beloved poppers incorrectly the whole time.
On Twitter, a user who goes by the handle @romanbuso21 has shared an illustrated photo of what appears to be the 'correct' way of drinking poppers.
As it turns out, the straw is supposed to be used with the bend at the bottom of the box – the exact opposite of what we've been doing all along!
By doing it this way, there is no need to tilt the box or make a dramatic slurping motion just to drink all of the juice inside.

"My life has been a lie," said the Twitter user, along with a crying and a broken heart emoji.
The post went viral on Twitter, where it was shared 83,000 times, liked 422,000 times, and got over 22,000 comments from people all over the world who were surprised and peeved by what they saw.
Many people, understandably, did not believe it and expressed that they would continue to do what they had been doing all along.
"I refuse to do that even if I'm wrong," one defiant user wrote in one of the comments. A second one agreed and added, "I feel like you're all just making stuff up at this point."
A third user also said, "There's no instruction telling me this so I ain't hearing it. Argue with yourself."
Others argued that not everything you see online is a 'smart hack' and this is one of them. According to one user, the sharp part of the straw is intended to pierce the opening and remain at the bottom, while the bendy part is intended to remain on top.
Others also shared a video demonstrating how 'inconvenient' it is to have the bendy part of the straw at the bottom of the juice box. Just take a look at the video on the tweet below:
So, what are your thoughts, folks? Is the way that we've been using the straw that comes with poppers totally wrong? Or is this just another example of one of those so-called "life hacks" that is actually just plain stupid?
