This TV error exposed a cheekier side of the solar eclipse!

In a world where live television can offer us front-row seats to history-making events, it's no surprise that sometimes things can go a bit awry.

For one Mexican news outlet, a recent live broadcast of the solar eclipse took an unexpected turn, leaving viewers amused and shocked.

The celestial spectacle of a solar eclipse is a rare and awe-inspiring event that has the power to bring people together in wonder.

For TV networks, it's a prime opportunity for news programs to engage with their audience by showcasing viewer-submitted footage of the phenomenon.

However, RCG Media's 24/7 news program got more than they bargained for during their coverage.

As the anchors presented clips from fans across the region, viewers were flashed with an unanticipated and intimate sight.

Amidst the footage of the darkened sun, the screen abruptly showed a man's testicles, humorously dubbed a 'testicular eclipse', shocking one female anchor and her male colleague.

The prank—which is a known Latin American gag according to local news website La Vanguardia—left the news team scrambling to remove the image from the broadcast.

The male anchor, trying to recover from the gaffe, explained that the eagerness to include fan experiences can sometimes lead to such embarrassing on-air moments.

The 'testicular eclipse' has been a recurring joke online, with reports of it happening in the 2019 eclipse in Chile.

Drummer Tommy Lee of Motley Crue fame shared a similar video on social media, which was deleted shortly after posting.

However, this is the first time it has made its way to live television, sparking a wave of mockery towards the news outlet for their oversight.

The prankster behind the submission, Rhevolver, took to social media to claim responsibility.

He also shared a cheeky message with his fellow Saltillo residents who witnessed the unexpected view on their screens.

The authenticity of the footage—whether it was originally by Rhevolver or a recycled photo—remains a mystery.

RCG Media has not responded yet regarding the issue, leaving the public wondering about the repercussions of the broadcast blunder.

It highlights the unpredictable nature of live broadcasts, and the challenges faced by media outlets in the digital age, where user-generated content is abundant and not always what it seems.

mine wasn't a tv mishap. I was walking junk mail one day and just happened to look up and saw something that really made me laugh... up in the sky, formed by clouds was a full set of male appendage. I thought I was going nuts and had to look a few times to make sure of what I was looking at.
