This odd warning on a Kmart product has left shoppers puzzled

Kmart shoppers have been left scratching their heads over this mysterious warning found on the back of a new product.

One Kmart customer posted photos of a peculiar label that she found on her Urban Multi Converter Bag.

Inside the 'Warning' box was a long string of words that were impossible to make sense of.

'Love my new bag, but I’m worried about the warning on the back of the label!' The shopper wrote.

Many laughed off the confusing discovery, with some remarking that 'someone didn’t do their job'.

'The bag comes with a free exorcism reading, that’s pretty cool,' joked one.

Another joked: 'I just tried to say it out loud, and my furniture started floating.'

'I thought it was some Harry Potter spell.' A third said.

While a fourth added: 'And for today’s Latin lesson…'

However, some members of the group uncovered the truth behind the text, with one claiming: 'How did that pass publishing approval? Someone fell asleep on the job.'

One user explained: '“Lorem ipsum…etc.” [is] a very common sample or ‘placeholder’ text that shows how a formatted document will look. It is supposed to be replaced with real words in the final document before printing.'

While another added: 'Oops, that’s a filler text. Someone forgot to paste the actual instructions.'

It’s possible that there was a production error with this Kmart label and that there are no warnings associated with the Multi Converter Bag.

This means it is possible customers may have nothing to worry about when it comes to this product.

While the incident sparked a few surprised chuckles, it’s important to know that false warnings can be dangerous as it could lead customers astray and make them think twice before using their product.

It could also hinder product usage and sometimes even lead to unnecessary panic.

However, it’s important to understand that while human errors such as these can occasionally sneak through rigorous quality checks, they are not the norm. In fact, advanced technology and proofreading procedures are standard in most industries to ensure that products and their labels are error-free.

That being said, it's also worth noting that this isn't the first time a 'Lorem Ipsum' incident has occurred. The Latin phrase, which is often used in publishing and web design as a placeholder for actual text, has made multiple sneaky appearances–on product labels, websites, and more!–before being replaced by the real copy.

One remarkable instance is when a billboard for 7News went live on Parramatta road filled with the Latin text.

‘Was this… intentional?’ The eagle-eyed user who spotted the billboard wrote on social media.
