This little-known Woolworths hack can help you save BIG on your groceries!

Christmas is one of the most exciting and special times of the year, but we have to admit, it can also get quite expensive.

Between presents, food, and socialising – not to mention all the other associated costs that come with the festive season – it's easy to overspend without meaning to.

But don't worry, folks, we're here to help you save where you can this holiday season! Recently, an Aussie mum took to TikTok to reveal a couple of hacks that could help slash your grocery bill at Woolworths.

According to Kate, the first step is to get a Woolworths SIM card because 'it's really decent and it's pay-as-you-go, so you're not going to put yourself in debt'.

By using a Woolies SIM card, you receive a 10 per cent off code every month that can be applied towards your shopping basket (up to $500). That's 10 per cent savings right there!

But wait, it gets even better…

You can also get an additional four per cent off when you use a Woolworths gift card on groceries through the supermarket's mobile app. Simply top up your gift card and then pay for groceries as normal. Easy peasy!

When it comes time for Christmas dinner or any other big stocking-up shops throughout December, this hack could end up saving you big - we're talking 14 per cent savings on essentials! Now that's what we call savvy shopping.

The mum said that the hacks could be helpful for Aussies who are having trouble making ends meet, especially now that the holiday season is getting near.

'We all know that groceries right now are ridiculously expensive, so I hope I helped you save some money today,' she said. 'I've got five kids, aged 10 through to one. They eat all the time, so being able to save $80, like I did today, is a huge difference. Huge difference.'

Starting to need to juggle a lot of balls to save money. Think if you are this savvy you are entitled to save. I'm too tired for all of that juggling. ;) ;) ;)
I cant be bothered with juggling. I divide my shopping up, go where the specials suit my needs. Woolies,Coles and Aldi. jay2

It’s not quite 14% off but now I’m splitting hairs. You get 10% off your total shop and then only get the 4% off that reduced balance when you pay.
