This is your Visa, there is an unusual expenditure…​

Just a heads up everyone.
I received a call the other day ( on which I hung up).
they said quickly , “ this is your visa calling. You have had an unusual amount of $2050 ( or something like that) on your card.
Please press 1 to deny this expenditure or 2 to approve it.”
I pressed neither and hung up.

It was bogus and my credit cards have no incorrect spending on them.

Oh dear They even have visa-related schemes now? Thank you for giving us a heads up, @Gograndma! We need to try our best to keep an eye out for these cruel tactics.
