This is NOT a drill, sweet tooths! Here’s how you can whip up a NO-BAKE doughnut cake
- Replies 3
Baking an entire cake yourself may seem intimidating at first, but one Aussie baker has proven that it’s actually a lot easier and more fun than you think! But the good news doesn’t end there…
If you think this is just a common baking tutorial, you’ll be delighted to know that this particular hack combines the two best desserts in the world into one: doughnuts and cakes.
Tigga Maccormack rose to fame as an exceptionally talented baker after sharing videos of her unmatched cake decorating skills.
But recently, she captured the attention of thousands once again, amassing nearly 200k views for sharing the easiest, no-fail cake tutorial that even a newbie baker could pull off. (We’re guilty!)

In the clip, Tigga revealed that you can repurpose traditional Krispy Kreme doughnuts into an eye-catching cake with just a wee bit of buttercream and creativity.
She begins by adding buttercream to the centre of a cake board before stacking three doughnuts on top of each other. Make sure to add some more buttercream in between each doughnut!
She then proceeds by filling the hole in the middle with her chosen filling. In the video, she uses lemon curd but feel free to experiment with various flavours – think chocolate, strawberry, sprinkles, jam or anything under the sun!
Then, Tigga covers the entire ‘cake’ with more buttercream. To take the dessert up a notch, she combines two different colours. You can opt to use just one or go on full blast with a rainbow-themed cake.
You can decide to stop there for an easy and tasty cake but Tigga, being the fantastic baker she is, couldn’t help but show off her skills by adding a ganache ‘drip’ and topping it all off with 100s & 1000s.

There you have it! A gorgeous, no-fuss cake to satisfy your sweet tooth.
The video also featured other variations of the doughnut cake, including a raspberry version and a Nutella one! The popular baker’s fans were quick to flood the comments section of her video.
‘These are so cute!’ wrote one fan, while another declared that they ‘would die and go straight to heaven’ if they ever had the chance to eat the final product.
‘Omg, I need to make this!’ a third added.
This isn’t the first time Tigga took the social media platform by storm. Previously, she shared how she transformed a simple Woolies cake into a work of art with only a handful of ingredients!
