This is a new one to me​

I got this on fb tonight, as we have just this week adopted a beautiful 8yr old rescue dog, it caught my attention, and was shocked at the number of dogs there. She also showed pictures of dogs in cages. I have quite a few different sites for adoption and they are all full but not to that extent. Then I read the comments and saw it's a scam, the clue is the # before a suburb. I did a search on google to see if there was such a shelter at Quinns Rocks (which is a suburb north of Perth) and couldn't find it, and seemingly this person has posted on several sites locally. Why do people do these things, hopefully not too many dog lovers will fall for this.

Tomorrow will be the last day on earth

for several dogs at #quinns animal services. We have an over of 85 dogs currently at the shelter which only holds 40. The animals need loving homes as soon as possible. Please share and tag any rescues that may be able to help. We have no runs left for upcoming dogs.

Saw the same post on Facebook yesterday. A bit too close to home for those of us involved in animal welfare groups. I hope these scumbags come unstuck
