This ingenious banana trick will have you questioning why you never discovered it earlier!

In her now-viral video, she demonstrates how to effortlessly snap a banana in half with a swift movement, eliminating the need to even peel the fruit once it's divided into two pieces. She explains, 'Then you can just squeeze the bottom like a glue stick,' while pinching the bottom of the banana as it seamlessly pops up out of its skin.

Though some sceptics were quick to point out that the banana in the demonstration appeared 'borderline green' and less ripe than preferred, Isabella assured her critics that there was no need for concern.

She insisted, 'Riper bananas work too. It's just that I prefer them like this.'

However, some still believe that the squeezing method could prove less effective if the banana is overly ripe and consequently becomes gooey.

Isabella's video sparked a lively discussion amongst her followers, with over 2,000 comments pouring in. Many were intrigued and delighted by her method, calling it 'satisfying' and commenting that they 'felt seen' upon learning that others have been using this technique for years.

Another user came to her defence, confirming that the snap technique works just as well with a ripe banana featuring a few brown spots.

Speaking of banana ripeness, do you ever struggle with storing and ripening bananas? Here are a few tips to help you out:

Keep bananas separate from other fruits

Bananas release a gas called ethylene, which speeds up the ripening process for nearby fruits. Storing bananas away from other fruits will prevent them from ripening too quickly.

Wrap the stem with plastic wrap or alfoil

This prevents the ethylene gas from escaping quickly, thus slowing down the ripening process.

To ripen bananas quicker, place them in a paper bag

The closed bag will trap the ethylene gas and speed up the ripening process.

Or, for an easy way to peel an orange, simply cut off the top and bottom, make a small slit in the skin, and then peel away the skin to unveil the juicy fruit?

Nonetheless, there were also those who remained loyal to the traditional banana-peeling method, arguing that it serves its purpose perfectly well.

So, which side of the great banana-opening debate do you fall on? Are you open to giving Isabella's ingenious idea a try, or will you stick to your current approach?

That's not a new way been on going for years , same as putting needle pricks close together around banana all way down and yo have slices instead of using a knife

I find it easier to peel a banana from the opposite end to the stem.
Well according to King Julian from the tv show The Penguins of Madagascar that is the proper way to peel a banana. There was a study done a few years ago, costing huge amounts of money, that observed the way monkeys peel their bananas and they all do it from the end opposite the stem. I peel one from whichever end is at the top when I grab the banana, doesn’t appear to make any difference, both ends are easy.
