Home hacks enthusiast Armen Adamjan, better known for his username @creative_explained, has revealed how to make his secret zero-waste DIY cleaning mix that he uses to clean and deodorise his home.

He said: "When you're done squeezing the juice out of lemons, don't throw out the peels!"
Armen then revealed the simple trick to make the product.
"Instead what you want to do is slice them up," he explained.

While he cut up the lemon peels, the chopping board was noticeably moving, prompting Armen to share a technique on how to keep the chopping board immobile while using it.
He said: "By the way, if your cutting board keeps sliding around like this, all you have to do is wet a paper towel and place it underneath it."
The hack definitely worked as the chopping board kept still while Armen continued chopping the lemon peels.
Next, he grabbed a spray bottle and placed the sliced lemon peels along with 1/2 cup of white vinegar, 1 teaspoon of salt, and a few squirts of dish soap.
Once the products are inside the spray bottle, Armen fills it with water before shaking it up.
He said: "What you have right now is a homemade, chemical-free, citrus-y disinfectant.”
He also suggested using the spray to clean and deodorise any spot in the house as the solution is a good all-rounder.
“It’s magic!” Armen exclaimed.

The hack went viral, garnering more than 116,000 likes and hundreds of comments from users who were astounded by the tip.
One user wrote: “This guy is going to save my life.”
“Gonna try this. If it works, never gonna spend money on household cleaners again,” another quipped.
However, not everyone seems to be happy with the tip, with many pointing out that the solution is not chemical-free — as claimed by Armen — as the solution includes the use of dish soap.
One person asked: “But you put dish soap in it! Wouldn’t that defeat the chemical-free part?”
One user responded to this inquiry, recommending switching dish soap with vinegar to keep the solution chemical-free.
