An unusual image took the internet by storm recently after it was posted on Reddit. The image at first glance seems nothing out of the ordinary– a group of six women, all smiles and posing for a picture– until you realise one of them is missing a pair of legs.
The picture was taken back in 2016 but recently resurfaced. Of the six women in the picture, the one sitting in the middle is what has everyone puzzled.

The optical illusion went viral, with thousands of users flocking to the comments to share their own theories and guesses.
“The second girl's legs are behind the first girl's legs... I think.” one user wrote.
“The two girls on the left are wearing black jeans. If you look closely you can see that the leg is too big to be just one girl's leg. Look hard enough and you'll see the tone change in the black jeans.” said another.

But a third noticed another creepy detail in the image: “I'm more concerned with the dark creature behind them…”
While a fourth even included an image that traced each woman’s pair of legs for visual clarity. But does the picture make sense to you?

Another odd picture that went viral shows a girl with a terrifying hand clutched onto the back of her dress– and it looks like it came from a horror movie!
But if you look a little closer, it’s really just someone trying to scratch their back… However, others refused to believe this theory.

“That sure looks more like a man's hand to me. And I sure as h*ll can't rotate MY hand like that. Sorry, I ain't buyin' it.” one user wrote.
“I just tried this and it’s impossible!” another chimed in.
While a third clarified the illusion saying: “Her arm is bent backwards below the elbow, instead of over it which is how most normal humans scratch their backs when they gotta go up that high.”
And to top it all off, a woman who seems to have lost her upper body. Yikes! This image amassed over 43.6k likes on Reddit but people were quick to point out what was actually happening in this particular optical illusion.

“The way the pink jacket is draped over the leg makes it look like a skirt, and then the fact that it’s not a skirt makes it look like it disappears into nothingness. If the jacket wasn't there it would look completely ordinary.” one person explained in the comments.
“Oh, this is excellent. So cool when you see it.” another said.
