The Twist​

Back in the old days, when I could actually "move", many of our generation used to head down to a place in Scarborough Beach W.A., known as the "snake pit". where the twist was the crowds' favorite dance craze. Two gang like groups - the Mods & the Surfers often clashed at said venue, but mainly in good hearted banter. The place was a regular haunt on a Friday &/or Saturday night.
Today of course to even remember those fun times, would result in one putting one's back out.
