The 'secret' Toblerone technique: Chef reveals a surprising way to break off chocolate triangles!

Just when you thought you knew everything there was to know about sweet treats, there's been a revelation about a chocolate bar that has left many of us scratching our heads.

Toblerone, the delicious Swiss chocolate treat we all know and love, has long been a family favourite, particularly for those who enjoy the unique blend of chocolate, nougat, and honey.

For most of us, tackling the triangular treat typically involves tugging at the bar to snap away each segment. However, it seems that there's an entirely different technique for breaking off those tasty triangles—and we've been doing it wrong all these years!

Enter Chef Koudy, a top chef from the Czech Republic, who recently blew our minds by revealing the true method of enjoying a Toblerone bar on social media.

According to him, instead of firmly pulling the chunk of chocolate away from the bar, you should simply place your finger on the tip of the triangular piece and push it towards the rest of the bar.

This gentle pressing motion will cause the chocolate to snap off effortlessly, leaving you with a perfectly broken-off triangle and no mess. Genius!

'Do you know Toblerone should be pushed together to break?' Chef Koudy asked in the caption accompanying his video demonstration.

It seems that millions of people didn't, as the video quickly went viral, garnering nearly 50 million views and leaving many gobsmacked.

'Each day I learn new things,' commented one astonished viewer.

While some people admitted that they had never considered this method before, others confessed to simply biting straight into the chocolate bar.

However, a few sceptics raised concerns about touching a piece of chocolate you don't intend to eat, suggesting that hygiene could be a factor to consider when trying out this newfound technique.

Despite the differing opinions, there's no denying that Chef Koudy's revelation has brought new life to our enjoyment of the Toblerone treat and perhaps made it an even more satisfying delight for those who like things just right.

As, one supposes, many of us do, I love Toblerone, but I am always put off by the fact that I am eating 'bee spit,' The same applies to honey. Sorry to put you off.

Can't stand Toblerone. so don't care about breaking that gross yuck off (same with Belgian choc).
Cadbury (has to be the Aus one not that knock off British version cadbury puts out)on the other hand depending on the shape of what you choose has a different flavour especially the dairy milk. Twirl is basically just dairy milk in a pattern and it tastes completely different to the blocks or round roll etc.

You do know that Cadbury is a British company founded in Cadbury in Birmingham in 1830 right? They didn't begin exporting to Australia until 1881! So actually it's the Australian version that is the knockoff version not the British one.😋😋
