The Queen has not been able to walk her dogs for almost a week after doctors advised her to take a rest following her overnight hospitalization on Wednesday.
Her Majesty used to enjoy daily walks with her two corgi puppies and a dorgi named Candy, a cross between a corgi and a dachshund, prior to spending an overnight stay in an unnamed hospital in London.

The Palace said that the monarch is taking the doctors’ orders to rest seriously.
Buckingham Palace also said that the Queen is still in ‘good spirits’ and is currently taking ‘light duties’ while resting.
Since her hospitalization, the dogs have been walked by staff.
Family and friends believe that the Queen’s daily excursions with her dogs to Frogmore, her Windsor estate where Harry and Meghan used to live, helped keep the royal in good health even in her nineties, describing the walks as her 'tonic' and 'one of the highlights of her day'.

The Queen is still expected to be able to lead the Royal Family at the Cop26 UN climate change summit in Glasgow next week, either in person or via video link.
A final decision will be made towards the end of this week.
