The Lottery (Contains bad Language)
Hymie was a good man with only one vice. The lottery.
At synagogue he would fervently pray to win. He started with descriptions of what good works he had done, omitting no detail of any benefit he got out of them for his ow modest needs.
Week after week, year after year this went on until his old age.
When he had almost given up hope he was, as usual telling the great Jehovah how worthy he was and just one win on the lottery would enable him to do even more there was a violent clap of thunder that shook the very foundations. A voice of immense volume and authority rattled the stained glass:
''Hymie, Hymie, give me, your God, a break.
Will you just this once buy a fukking ticket!''
