The Lay Off
The head of a small company has a problem, Business is bad, and it becomes absolutely necessary to reduce the staff by on employee.
Jack Smith and Mary Jones are the two most junior employees, and both are excellent workers. How in all fairness, can the boss decide which one to fire.?
Finally he hits on an idea of letting luck decide the outcome. The next morning he keeps a close on the water cooler. Whichever of the two visit the cooler first will
be the to be let go.
Within an hour, Mary goes to the cooler for some water. The boss calls her into his office and explains.
"Mary, I've got a terrible problem, I've either got to lay you or Jack off"
"Boss, I've got a pounding headache, so you'd better Jack off"
