We are impossibly burdened with Insurance for house and contents , up $960.00 , Rates up $100.00, to use Iphone up %10. from $20 to $22.00. We are in our late 70s with Pension which increased by $4. Medicines are up 20%. Cannot afford dentistry, travelling, cheap food etc. Now we owe $443.00 Electricity. Where is the help????

Its pure Greed by Govts and Globalists causing this Energy Crisis ,We are forced to pay for their useless Renewables that are not clean green nor efficient, its a Scam and the Puppeters are playing Us all

The first one, a good idea if you do actually have a choice of providers.
We had a woman ring to talk about comparing energy prices. When told we were with Ergon in NQ, she just hung up. No one else here, so tough luck.
Some of the other ideas are no brainers. Solar is okay, not great, but it is still a very big investment.

Buy a few balls of knitting wool and crochet a nice rug , so many varieties to do so . If you don’t no google it or ask a friend . Keeps you nice and warm.

Regretfully, VERY regretfully, in this day and age if we have not provided for after Retirement expenses there is very little help, if any. Taxpayers fund the Pension via the Government and that's it. I feel for you but cannot offer a solution.
