Telstra scam going around. This one is very real looking. PLEASE BE CAREFUL!!!!!!​

Please be careful with these ones. They look so real and I even had to check my account number and bill number as I had just paid my Telstra account about a week ago. I always check any message from Telstra now thanks to these scam emails. I also never click on any links I go into my account through Telstra. If you always go through Telstra and not through a link, you should be reasonably safe

Be careful of getting calls on your phone or emails saying you owe
PAYPAL $$$$ I do not have PayPal at all,I contacted my bank and they are on it
this is the phone number they called me on 028456160 ,I rang it back and it came up as SPAM pm my phone ,just be careful everyone the phone number has been blocked now

It's funny I keep getting this spam and I had a bad break up with Telstra a long time ago, so I get more acknowledgement from these spammers than I ever did from Telstra.

Spotted that as a scam after reading the first line ”the last owing bill”. I’m sorry people get caught in these scams but surely we have been warned enough to know not to click on any links in emails. Most scams have something, grammar, spelling, sentence structure wrong with them.

I'm with iiNet and I have been getting this scam for months.....funny thing is....they always send it AFTER I've made my payment and received a receipt! They're not that smart!

It's not that they're stupid.... That's what stimulates their action.... They're probably NOT monitoring your actual payment but somehow your payment and receipt being out there triggers their approach
I've actually received this scam but, like I said, I don't have a Telstra account so it was an obvious scam to me

I had a message yesterday telling me my Apple pay would no longer be accepted from my phone and i had to click on a link, which of course i didnt. Ive never used Apple pay. Beware if you do.
