Telephone Table

Who can forget the telephone table that used to grace our homes? This small, laminated piece of furniture was just the right size for your phone and teledex, with a handy basket below for those old-school telephone books. It even had a comfy padded vinyl seat, perfect for those long, leisurely phone conversations. But with the advent of cordless and mobile phones, the telephone table became a relic of a bygone era. Did you have this in your home back in the day? Share your cherished memories with us!

We had something very similar , we also had that black index address thing . I always wanted a phone like that but I think I wanted it for my bedroom.
We had a red phone .

Agree with @Wandiwa where is the white, yellow and pink page phone books , ours sat under the phone in that empty space

My Dad was very handy, and made our telephone table- just like the one in the picture- using tubular steel, chipboard, vinyl with padding and 'Contact' adhesive wood grain covering. It was great. He also built me a beautiful desk for me to study at. Good memories. ❤️ I really miss him.

I still have a telephone table which I bought off an old lady about 15 years ago. We still use our landline phone all the time. Our granddaughters rag doll cat who lives with us loves to sit on the seat and sleep.
