Tablecloths in the 70s

Yes I remember using these, when I was growing up our table was always set with a tablecloth for meals. After the meal it was taken outside and shaken to get rid of crumbs, then folded and put away til next meal, unless it was dirty, then it was put in the wash. when smaller kids were around we had to be careful they didn’t pull the tablecloth and everything off the table. My mother in law always used a full size tablecloth for meals, then a half table sized cloth for morning and afternoon teas unless the whole family was there. I always used tablecloths for many years after my marriage, now I just use placemats, but I still use tablecloths for special occasions like birthdays, tea parties with grandkids and Christmas. I have several of this sort of tablecloth as well as more fancy ones such as satin and lace.
