He's afraid to take a bus because of the crappy drivers! But would he give up his seat if he were a passenger?
Him replying that he 'is the bus driver' implies that she approached him on the bus, i.e. when he was sitting in the driver's seat.I think the punch line should have bee" “I’m the bus driver” not “ a bus driver” Makes much more sense
That wasn't the question! But would he give up his seat if he were a passenger?
I'm assuming, NEITHER were on the bus. She wouldFail. Would have been better if he'd said, "I'm the bus driver."
OTOH, I'm sure bus drivers travel in passenger seats when not on duty. So why wouldn't he give up his seat ... ?
But they're not doing the survey on a bus. He is A bus driver.I think the punch line should have been “I’m the bus driver” not “ a bus driver” Makes much more sense
I believe in human decency. I would offer my seat to anyone in genuine need.Selfish feminist survey person.
I believe in gender equality.
Which therefore destroys the punchline. Bus drivers can also be passengers. Or does he pretend he's driving the bus even when he's a passenger? When he plays Bus Driver does he also do the sound fx - vroom vroom, ding!, screeeeech ... ?But they're not doing the survey on a bus. He is A bus driver.
As I ended my post ... bus drivers can also be passengers. Or does this bus driver only ever board a bus to drive it?I'm assuming, NEITHER were on the bus. She would
A) Have to be really dumb to bother the driver - and
B) If he was driving the bus, he wouldn't answer a survey on the job!
It was assumed, reasonably. The bus driver was being disingenuous. That wasn't the question!
The question assumes he's a passenger: "If you were travelling on a bus ... "But would he give up his seat if he were a passenger?
Exactly! But they're not doing the survey on a bus. He is A bus driver.
