A legendary icon in the music scene, Elton John who is currently at the age of 75 was spotted in a wheelchair ahead of his Jubilee performance – and thousands of his die-hard fans are worried about his condition and ability to perform.
The internationally acclaimed singer was pictured wearing one of his trademark Gucci tracksuits when he landed at the Leipzig Airport in a wheelchair on Friday.
But this isn’t the first time Elton has been seen in a wheelchair. Back in 2019, Elton disclosed that he had to be pushed around in a wheelchair after suffering a sprained ankle. Nonetheless, it didn’t stop him from making an appearance at the Virtual Uffizi Gallery in Florence, Italy.
“Not even a sprained ankle could keep me away from seeing one of the most beautiful museums in the world,” he said.

Elton is set to perform with Queen and Diana Ross for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee concert on Saturday in a pre-recorded performance.
The superstar previously took a break from his Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour after struggling with multiple illnesses but he will push on his European tour this month.
Elton confirmed that he was ready to jump back to work after stepping back from the limelight to recover from an 'awkward fall’.
He took to Instagram on Friday to announce that he will return to the stage again after having a 'restful break at home' to officially conclude his career.
“After a restful break at home, I'm ready to get back on the road with my Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour!” he captioned his Instagram post.

The singer plans to retire after this tour to be able to spend more of his time with his filmmaker husband David Furnish as well as their two sons Zachary and Elijah.
The Farewell Yellow Brick Road concerts were rescheduled after Covid came into the picture but were set to continue earlier last year.
However, the show was postponed once more after the star experienced 'considerable pain and discomfort' in his hip following a nasty fall, detailing: “I fell awkwardly on a hard surface and have been in considerable pain and discomfort in my hip ever since.”

"Despite intensive physio and specialist treatments, the pain has continued to get worse and is leading to increasing difficulties moving."
"I have been advised to have an operation as soon as possible to get me back to full fitness and make sure there are no long-term complications," the six-time Grammy Award winner explained.
"I will be undertaking a program of intensive physiotherapy that will ensure a full recovery and a return to full mobility without pain."
