If you're like most people, you probably have a pair of white sneakers that you love. But after a while, they can start to look a little dirty.

That's where this cleaning hack comes in!

Carolina said that all you need is a toothbrush and some toothpaste, and your shoes will look good as new in no time.

Simply squeeze some toothpaste onto the brush and scrub away.

Finally, wipe the shoes down with a damp cloth to remove any excess.

That's it!

In the video, Carolina showed the dirty and cleaned shoes side by side to prove that the simple hack can give you "amazing results".

The video gained traction on social media, with many users expressing that they are looking forward to trying the tip themselves.

One user wrote: "How did you know I needed this today?"

"I’ve been using toothpaste too. Helps clean jewellery as well," another suggested.

Meanwhile, others shared suggestions on how to clean sneakers that are made with fabric, with many claiming that magic erasers, bleach, baking soda, and even hand sanitiser can do the trick.

One person recommended: "Use a mix of toothpaste and baking soda. Make like a paste and then leave it overnight and wash with soap next day."

"Been doing this to my white converse for yrs. You can do it again till they dry and are all white...don't use bleach. Bleach will yellow or break the fabric."

"I've sprayed them with Resolve carpet cleaner, then left them in the sun all day. They turned out crazy white!" another added.

A third chimed in: "Throw them in a washing machine with a bunch of white towels and the towels will scrub the shoes clean."
