Super affordable Easter items as part of Kmart's clearance sale!

Now that the big Easter holiday is over, supermarkets and retail stores all over Australia are already preparing to get rid of any remaining seasonal stock, especially decoration and novelty items, that are left on their shelves.

Try visiting your local stores and you might just be surprised with the amazing things (and discounts) you can find – just like this one mum from Queensland!

Posting on the popular Facebook group Markdown Addicts Australia, one woman shared that she couldn't believe her eyes when she found probably one of the best bargains she’d ever seen.

Apparently, when she visited her local Kmart store in Brisbane, they were clearing out their Easter stock and almost everything was priced for only $0.10 each!

Yes, you heard that right, members. Shelves and shelves of clearance items were priced at only 10 cents.

"Kmart Cannon Hill, there are loads of stock left on the shelves when I left the store," she said, alongside pictures of the Easter items on sale.

Amongst the marked-down items were chocolate Easter eggs, ceramic bunny mugs, large ceramic decorative Easter eggs, Easter cake decorating kits, decorative wooden "Happy Easter" signs and even the popular metal-framed "Happy Easter" signs.

Considering that Easter mugs usually range from $5 to $8, these clearance prices are an absolute bargain!

"The bargain god heard my prayers," the shopper added. Truly, being at the right place at the right time pays off…

Needless to say, many of her fellow Kmart shoppers and bargain hunters in the Facebook group were left speechless at her amazing finds, with some users saying that the woman's post made them rush to their local Kmart.

"Wow… what a bargain!" wrote one person. Another agreed and called the woman's haul an "absolute score".

A few Kmart shoppers also shared that their local stores too had amazing Easter deals, though the prices were not as cheap as 10 cents. "We got ours for 20c and 50c at Redbank," commented one user, adding that they were still thrilled by the bargain finds, nonetheless.

A second user even admitted that they should have "held off" for a couple more days so they could have scored lower prices on the Easter items. "Damn, I thought $0.50 was a bargain!" wrote the frustrated shopper.

It appears that the marked down deals on Kmart's Easter items are only available at certain stores, with prices varying between states.

Looks like these bargain prices are just the luck of the draw, folks.

We suggest heading over to the nearest Kmart now and finding out if your local store is also offering discounts, too. If you happen to spot some more places that have these kinds of amazing markdowns, please share them in the comments below for other members!

Surely, the definition of a "bargain" is getting something you "NEED" at a cheaper price otherwise it's just spending, so does this qualify? I'm not sure.;)
I stay away from sales days. Often they are not my needs. Whenit is what I need on special, I buy a few extra to stretch my budget.
