Hey members!

We’re back with another Sunday Classic—and this one’s a full-throttle, blues-rock explosion that’ll leave you breathless!

This week’s pick is ‘I’m Going Home’ by Ten Years After, a high-octane jam that tore the roof off Woodstock in 1969! Huge thanks to member @mickthesnip for the killer suggestion.



Frontman Alvin Lee’s lightning-fast guitar work and raw vocals turned this song into a live performance legend. Clocking in at breakneck speed, it’s a fiery mix of rock ‘n’ roll, blues, and pure adrenaline—no wonder it became the band’s signature showstopper.

Fun fact: The Woodstock version of this track was mostly improvised and helped launch Ten Years After into the spotlight. Lee was even dubbed “the fastest guitarist in the West” after that performance!

Great track Alvin lee was a lightning fast guitar player I have a feeling that he was one of the guitarist that gave Angus young inspiration as well as Chuck Berry the pioneer of guitar. I would like to nominate one for next week the Steve Miller band Jet Airliner singing about getting on a 707 was the big jet back in the day.
