If you’re looking to indulge in a delicious dessert but you’re trying to avoid eating refined sugar, then you’ll love this Sugar-free Banana Bread recipe. Ripe bananas not only add natural sweetness to this tasty dish, but they are also rich in healthy vitamins, minerals, and fibre. So you can enjoy your banana bread without guilt!
Here are the ingredients you need:
1. Four very ripe bananas
2. Two eggs
3. Half a cup of olive oil
4. A quarter cup of milk
5. A teaspoon of vanilla bean paste
6. A teaspoon of ground cinnamon
7. A cup of wholemeal flour
8. A cup plain of flour
9. A teaspoon of baking powder
10. A teaspoon of baking soda
11. A pinch of salt
First, preheat the oven to 160 degrees or 140 degrees Celsius, fan-forced. Then, grease and line an 11.5 x 22-centimetre (base measurements) loaf pan with baking paper.
In a large bowl, mash the bananas with a fork until smooth. Add the eggs, oil, milk, and vanilla. Mix the ingredients well. Next, sift the two flours, cinnamon, baking powder, bicarbonate, and salt over the banana mixture before stirring until combined. Spoon the batter into the prepared pan and level the top with a spatula.
Bake for an hour and ten minutes or until a skewer inserted in the centre comes out clean.
Then, stand the pan for five minutes before transferring it onto a wire rack to cool. Serve, slice, and enjoy!
