Stair Lifts & Lifts
To all my fellow Senior citizens particularly those who do not reside within or close to their capital city and have a need to have a stair lift installed in their home due to their fragility. I have spent the past six (6) months searching the Web trying to get a supplier to come and measure up & quote.
What I have found to date & might I say without any success to date:-
Most of those companies (and there are a multitude of them) who use the Web to advertise their products practice false advertising. I will not name these at this time however once you answer their question “What is your Post Code” (mine 4703) their response is “We don’t service that area as too far out of the South East, 8 hours drive” although their advert says we service Queensland & Northern NSW.
Of those who are prepared to come to 4703 they want you to provide all the measurements & photos and then they quote based on your detail provided but no guarantee if the calculations are not accurate.

I am at Witt’s End with master bedroom & bathrooms upstairs and we are running out of time & solutions. Do any of my colleagues have any similar experience & have they found a solution they would like to share. Of interest our stair case is only 800mm wide.
