There are only a few weeks left until Easter. You folks know what that means, right?
It’s officially hot cross buns season (finally)!
And it seems like Spotlight is pulling ahead of the celebrations with their newly released item – one that will surely have hot cross bun lovers all over the country rushing to the nearest store just to get one (or three depending on how much you love hot cross buns).

Indulge yourself with delicious hot cross buns this Easter with their Chocolate Hot Cross Bun Making Kit!
This bake-your-own hot cross bun kit makes a total of 12 chocolate hot cross buns. The whole set includes a spiced bun mix, white piping mix for the cross, chocolate chips, a piping bag and written instructions.
To achieve the perfect shine that store-bought hot cross buns have, we recommend pairing this DIY kit with a jar of your preferred jam (our favourite is apricot).
After the buns have finished baking, brush them over with a mix of water and heated apricot jam (you can also use honey, maple syrup, or any other flavour of jam).
