South Burnett Pantry​

Hi everyone, my name is Georgina and I volunteer at the south Burnett pantry, if you are struggling with grocery shopping or you just want to make your money go further then come and see us, you can get two kinds of shops they are a $40 shop or $25 shop the $40 shop gets you dry goods, fridge, freezer, fruit and veg and bread that's $160 worth of food, or the $25 shop get you fridge, freezer, fruit and veg and bread, there is no limit to how many shops you do, if you want a $40 shop but would like extra cold stuff then you can do both $40 and $25 shops, all you will need to do is fill out a form for your first visit and let us know where you heard about us and then every other visit is simple, when you come in just see the person at the desk when you arrive and she will tell you what you need to know, there is parking out the front and so you don't have to lug all that shopping to your car you can then drive round to the back and you have help loading it into your car, we are a friendly bunch of people that work there and we are always willing to give a helping hand, so please come and see what you can get, you never know if you are lucky you could get a bunch of flowers, we also have a thrift shop with some lovely clothes and bric-a-brac.
