Slow Cooker Ribs
Quick, simple, and great during any season, these slow cooker Asian ribs melt right off the bone! Easy to make gluten free, and perfect for busy nights.

Ingredients
1.5 kg pork back ribs fat removed
Dry Rub
2 teaspoons dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
Wet Marinade
1 onion diced
4 garlic cloves minced
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup ketchup
2 teaspoons sriracha
1 tablespoon coarse whole grain mustard
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
Instructions
Cut ribs into smaller portions (about two bone chunks per portion.) Mix dry rub ingredients together and rub each rib portion down. Place ribs into 6-quart slow cooker.
Combine wet marinade ingredients together, and pour over top of ribs.
Cover and cook on high 3 1/2 hours or 6-7 hours on low heat. Ribs are complete when they fall off the bone.
Notes
Note: For a more finished appearance and texture, broil ribs in oven until darkened before serving.
