She eats it on a slice of toast paired with cherry tomatoes and even incorporates a scoop into her ‘breakfast bowl’ for extra protein.

Here’s what you need to replicate her recipe:

1. Chickpeas
2. Lemon juice
3. Nutritional yeast
4. Turmeric
5. Smoked paprika
6. Garlic powder
7. Chilli
8. Salt and pepper
9. Tahini
10. Olive oil


In a medium-sized bowl, she combines all of the ingredients before mashing them with a fork. Then, she heats a frying pan with a splash of olive oil and tosses the mixture in the pan to cook for five minutes.

‘It’s the perfect breakfast addition because it’s healthy, high in protein, and so flavourful. It also makes four servings so you can simply reheat and enjoy it for the next day.’
