Signs and more signs what each sign tells you mystery is solved

"Nothing is without a sign." It is with this statement that Paracelsus, a 16th century Swiss physician and theologian, will illustrate the theory of signatures. He relies on a principle known since Antiquity: that of similarity, "like cures like", which makes the link between the shape of plants or foods and the part of the human body that we wish to treat, one resembling the other.

"A little-known theory, often considered simplistic, but which has provided many remedies, some of which are still used today." 💭🔬

Here are a few examples: the kernels of 🧠 walnuts resemble the two hemispheres of the brain. Several studies show that the consumption of this fruit increases the level of serotonin, a neurotransmitter involved in the regulation of mood, depression, appetite and sleep.

Tomato and the heart: cut in half, it reveals two cavities that are similar to those of the heart. A high level of lycopene - an antioxidant in tomatoes - in the blood would help better prevent the risk of cardiovascular diseases. To increase its absorption rate, eat them cooked with a drizzle of olive oil. ❤️🍅

Ginger and the stomach: similar in shape to this organ, ginger has been dedicated to gastric disorders, with also anti-nausea properties. 🌱🍽️

Celery and bones: the long stems of this plant are reminiscent of bones. They contain silica (the natural form of silicon dioxide), naturally present in bones, cartilage and muscles. This trace element participates in the fixation of calcium and magnesium in the body, and is essential for our bone capital. 🌿💪

...there is also the carrot and the iris of the eye, the fig and the testicles, the grapefruit and the woman's breasts, the sweet potato which helps the pancreas to do its job by stabilizing the blood sugar level.

Chinese medicine was interested in this a long time ago...☯️ by relating the colors of foods to organs in the theory of the 5 elements.
