How good are potatoes eh? They’re cheap, easy to prepare, versatile and delicious no matter how you prepare them. You have mashed potatoes, roast potatoes, chips, the list is pretty much endless. Don’t even get me started on the shapes either. Everyone knows those classic smiley face potatoes you get in the packet from your local supermarket right? Well, how about something a little bit more romantic? You heard me right folks, a romantic potato!

The German supermarket recently levelled up their potato game by introducing the world to ‘Potato Hearts’ for only $2.49 a packet. It’s tossed in sunflower oil, therefore making it low in cholesterol when compared to other potato treats. Did we mention it’s easy to cook too? Pop it in an air fryer or an oven and it’s all good to go!
The word spread around quicker online after one user posted about the groundbreaking potato treats in a big Facebook group.
“This is what I'm buying myself for Valentine's day.” a user wrote.
“We had these for dinner tonight! So yummy. Reminds me of the old smiley face potatoes.” another user commented.
An Instagram account called ‘@addicted_to_bargains’ also shared a post about it.
“OMG NOT A DRILL CUTE AND POTATO” a person commented.
The potato hearts aren’t available online as of the moment, but you can definitely grab a pack at your local ALDI store.
