Shoppers heartbroken after beloved Cottee's Cordial flavour suddenly disappears

We don't know about you, members, but there are a few things we really miss from 'the good old days' - no matter how much we appreciate modern-day advancements.

Among them are certain foods, clothing and even drinks that made us feel all warm and fuzzy inside, like having the perfect cup of tea and a biscuit or a sip from the sweet, iconic, Cottee's Cordial.

Cottee's Cordial has decided to discontinue one of its popular flavours, causing disappointment among many Australian customers.

Specifically, the company has removed its cola flavour, which has become a surprise and caused significant upset for some customers.

The Cottee's spokesperson confirmed that the flavour was recently phased out due to 'declining popularity’.

A petition has since been launched by several dissatisfied customers urging Cottee's Cordial to bring back their favourite flavour.

So far, over 200 people have signed the petition, citing the cola flavour as ‘by far the best flavour they make’.

Additionally, many parents of children with autism said that it was the only flavour their children would drink and were distressed over Cottee’s move to remove it from shelves.

One mum commented: ‘It takes months and months of frustrating tantrums to change an autistic child/adult’s routine with food and drink. Please bring it back.’

These customers are clearly passionate about their love for this particular flavour and are making their voices heard to influence the company's decision.

When asked about the impact of the petition, Cottee's did not provide confirmation on whether it would affect their decision.

However, they did express appreciation for the outpouring of support for their brand from loyal customers.

A Cottee’s representative remarked: ‘It’s exciting to see so much love for this brand, and we’re grateful that consumers are showing this loyalty.’

‘We’ll keep an eye on this petition over the coming months.’

I grew up on Mynor cordial then when I had kids It was either cottees or mynors cordial, which ever was on sale.

I actually thought the cola cordial was disgusting and I'm surprised so many liked it.

My favourite was tropical which was discontinued and also lemon , hubby's green gi or lemon squash which they discontinued as well.

My kids loved all of them as well as raspberry

In our house we had at least 5 flavours at once.

It was a cheap drink to give your family but we were not told back then how much sugar was in the drink .
If I knew this I wouldn't have given it too my kids.

The lady with the autistic child was complaining it was his favourite drink. I wouldn't give it to my autistic grandson. Yes they are fussy but it's more if a texture thing. Get him use to something more healthy including water
