Shoppers are obsessed with a new ‘genius’ garbage bin from Amazon that vacuums up dropped food

From sushi maker kits to cordless vacuum cleaners, several innovative buys are taking the country by storm and they won’t be dwindling anytime soon. The latest item in the limelight? A stainless-steel rubbish bin that comes with a bagless vacuum system, designed to clean up dirt or food accidentally dropped nearby. Not too shabby, eh?
The EyeVac+ bin made the rounds online after a popular Amazon bargain hunter, Julianna Claire, featured it in an Instagram video. She gushed over the product and shared that she had to wait for months to get her hands on it.
The clip went viral almost instantaneously as the gadget can be seen in full swing. It detected food crumbs that Julianna dropped to put it to the test and left the area spotless.
While the EyeVac+ is undeniably more advanced than a standard rubbish bin, the downside is that it costs $249 and is currently sold out on Amazon.
'Forget a handheld vacuum, this is a garbage bin with a built-in bagless vacuum that easily cleans up messes, hair, and dust in seconds,' she said.
'It has an auto or manual mode and also lets you know when the vacuum bin is full.'

The product also boasts a touchless lid function that opens by simply hovering your hand over the lid.
According to the product description, the EyeVac+ is also equipped with dual filters to remove allergens, dirt, and dust. It’s a perfect home addition for the clumsy (we’ve ‘bin’ there hehe), families with young children who may drop food, or households with a pet that sheds fur.
In 24 hours, Julianna’s Instagram video racked up more than 536,000 views as well as dozens of comments from users who were blown away by the ‘genius’ rubbish bin.

‘Oh, now THIS is a necessity!’ one person wrote.
‘This is so smart and handy!’ chimed another.
A third added: ‘This is cool! It would make sweeping slightly less awful, haha!’
‘I love this! It would be perfect for my little kitchen.’ declared a fourth.
‘And it’s aesthetically pleasing.’ responded one more.
What are your thoughts on the Amazon Eyevac+ bin? Do you think it’s brilliant or is it an unnecessary product? Here’s hoping a more affordable option is released! Let us know in the comments!
