Shoppers are going wild for this $7 Kmart gadget–here’s why you need it

A new kitchen gadget has become the talk of Kmart Australia, with shoppers flocking to stores to grab this affordable must-have.

What seemed like a simple product quickly sparked excitement online, with many calling it a game-changer.

But, as with any trending item, not everyone is convinced it’s perfect.

Kmart Australia shoppers flocked to stores recently to grab a new kitchen gadget priced at $7.

Fitness coach and nutritionist Bec Hardgrave from Brisbane decided to try out the Oil Spray and Pour Bottle for herself.

This budget-friendly, mess-free tool promises easy spraying or pouring onto food and cooking pans, offering precise control.

Bec filled the 450mL glass bottle with olive oil and sprayed it over a slice of bread, sharing her experience with followers.

She was impressed with both the product's functionality and its aesthetic appeal.

‘I’m very happy with how aesthetic it looks and it’s better for you. Highly recommend heading to Kmart and grabbing one of these,’ she said in a video.

The video quickly caught the attention of viewers, many of whom planned to buy the bottle on their next Kmart trip.

‘I need one of these like right now,’ one person commented.

However, one user pointed out a potential flaw that could affect the oil’s quality.

The concern was that the bottle isn’t made of dark glass, which could cause the oil to spoil if exposed to sunlight.

‘Olive oil needs to be kept in a dark-tinted jar to avoid it spoiling. That’s why all the containers are dark or completely covered,’ one commenter explained.

Healthline recommends storing olive oil in a cool, dry place and preferably in a dark bottle to prevent oxidation.

Olive oil typically lasts 18 to 24 months, or 12 to 18 months for extra virgin olive oil.

This trend follows another hit product release by Kmart, a cordless spot cleaner that quickly went viral.

The $49 product impressed shoppers with its ability to clean carpets, rugs, car interiors, stairs, and upholstery.

A video posted on social media demonstrated how effective it was at removing dirt and grime from a beige couch.

‘This is the best way to keep your home spotless,’ one woman said in the clip.

‘It’s cordless, lightweight and super easy to carry around. You just fill it up with water and low foam cleaning solution.’

After cleaning the couch, the water collected dark grey filth, showing how thorough the cleaner was.

Many saw the cordless version as an affordable alternative to pricey cleaning equipment.

While the product hasn’t launched online yet, it is available in Kmart stores.

The video generated excitement, with shoppers expressing interest in buying the spot cleaner.

‘No way! Awesome,’ one person wrote.

‘Seriously, now you bring a cordless version out when I just bought the big corded one like a month ago,’ another added.

A third shopper inquired about when the product would be available in New Zealand.
